Through the offices/observatories under the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, national and international responsibilities and duties are being fulfilled through the use of trained manpower and modern technology. Management development, addition of skilled manpower and continuous modernization of machinery are ongoing to help the government and the people to deal with the risks and disasters of climate change. The work of setting up the latest Doppler radar at Rangpur Meteorological Office is going on.
